Oh Helen, your girls must have been sooo cute and I hope Kira is feeling much better:) and Elvis was so much fun to do and my son loved it even more, he woke me up wearing his costume this morning!
That Elvis costume is incredible. Pretty handy you have access to such an amazing embroidery machine but even without that it would have been very cool. My eldest's middle name is Elvis.
I see what you mean about a rococo flamingo, its very stylish but still really cute on her. Good carving skills with the pumpkins too!
Hey Laura, what a cool middle name! How did you choose it? And thanks for all the sweet comments :) As for carving, I just love it and find it so relaxing, I was thinking I should take some kind of sculpture classes! I am not very artsy, just crafty!!!
I liked the idea of his middle name beginning with E, as mine does too. Plus I absolutely love the film True Romance, so it's because of that rather than due to me being a massive Elvis fan. To be honest I'm not sure it suits him but his full name does have a lovely flow to it. My youngest's middle name begins with E as well :)
Ooh, you'd be amazing at sculpture. I actually gave up art in school as I hated the feeling of clay on my hands, I still do. Going to give some air dry clay a go for some Christmas decorations though.
Celina, these costumes are amazing!! Those peacocks, that flamingo! My Henry thought the guitar rocked! And those are some awesome pumpkins too! We all went dressed as dinosaurs this year, specifically dinosaurs from the tv show dinosaur train...Brad and I made complete idiots out of ourselves, but we all enjoyed ourselves and the kids loved it!
Oh my I can't wait to see your costumes! I usually try to dress up, but not this year :( my husband isn't much into it and sometimes it's just no fun on my own. I love that your husband seems to be somewhat involved in your craftiness :) and you need to find yourself a real estate agent to make your Henry a guitar:)
What great costumes - the Elvis one is fantastic!!!
ReplyDeleteMy girls were fairies. Poor Kira wasn't feeling well, but really came through for trick or treating.

DeleteThese are wonderful costumes! Love that guitar! Looks like you all had a blast. :)
ReplyDeleteOh thank you! Coming from the Queen of costumes I am very touched. It was fun until some teenager scared my daughter, she'll be fine!
